Two children who were kidnapped in an apparent car theft on the north side have been found safe, 1200 WOAI news reports.

  A car with two children, aged 8 months and two years, both in car seats, inside was stolen from the Lovin' Care Child Development Center in the 16000 block of Henderson Pass.

  The car was found abandoned a few minutes later and the children, and one of the car seats, were missing.

  Police say a man walked into the Child Development Center and asked to use the rest room right before the car was stolen.

  The two children were found safe about thirty minutes later in an apartment at the Canyon Point Apartmentrs at 16550 Henderson Pass.

  Officers say this is not a child custody case and right now it appears to be a stranger kidnapping.

  So far the suspects have not been located.
