Three men leaving a party on Loop 1604 on the far northwest side found themselves being followed and shot at early today, Newsradio 1200 WOAI's Morgan Montalvo reports.

Police say the men left the party following an altercation with some other guests about 1:30AM Saturday

As the men were driving down Loop 1604, another car pulled up beside them and somebody in the car opened fire.

One of the three men in the car was shot in the neck.

The driver panicked and tried to take his passenger to a hospital, but instead found himself in the parking lot of Northwest Vista College.

A college security officer called 911, and EMS rushed the victim, in his twenties, to University Hospital.

Police are questioning the other two men in the car to try to figure out what sparked the altercation, and who the gunmen might be.
