Texas ranks fourth in the country in the number of people between 18 and 34 who have successfully enrolled in Obamacare, 1200 WOAI news reports.

"The fact is despite efforts of Republican leaders to make enrollment a difficult process in Texas, young people are able to find affordable health plans and are actively enrolling," said Katie Naranjo, State Director of Protect Your Care.

"The misconceptions that young people are not enrolling is purely false," she said.  "The numbers released by Health and Human Services show that Teas is one of four states leading the nation in youth health coverage enrollments."

She says 27% of Texans between the ages of 18 and 34, who are essential if Obamacare is to succeed, have enrolled on the federal exchange.  That's compared with 25% nationwide.
