After opening a second Papa's Burgers location in June, owner Robert Walker is trying his hand in the taco business.

Walker is planning to open a taco restaurant called Papa's Sartén this fall. The new restaurant is located just down from the Papa's Burgers on San Pedro Avenue.

The plan for the new taco establishment is an assortment of breakfast and lunch tacos that are made to order, cooked fresh, and prepared right in front of customers.

Walker said that his grandma is the inspiration for this new restaurant. "When we were kids, grandma always had a pot of beans, some bacon grease and a cast iron pan on the stove. She would ask us if we are hungry, and if we were, she was ready to cook us up something. That's the idea behind the restaurant. Everything will be made after the order," he told My San Antonio.

In addition to tacos, coffee will be a major part of the new restaurant and Walker said he would like for his patrons to donate coffee mugs for him to use at the eatery. "We want to replicate that feel of grandma's house in every way possible," he said.

The hours of the new restaurant will be between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday of each week.
