What is the Prom Night Do-Over Party?
It’s the third annual 96.1 NOW Prom Night Do-Over Party which means you get to relive one of the craziest, most monumental times in your high school career – maybe you didn’t go, maybe you didn’t make it there, maybe your date was a nightmare! Either way, this is your chance to relive the moment – hopefully with someone you actually like! This year we’re going to Hollywood with ticket sales going to Susan G. Komen San Antonio! The 2018 Prom Night Do-Over Party will feature all kinds of hidden surprises so you don’t want to miss out. So mark your calendar for June 9th because the party will be a night to remember!
How do I buy tickets to the Prom Night Do-Over Party?
You can buy your tickets 24 hours a day, right HERE on our website. Tickets are $20 per person and sales go straight to Susan G. Komen San Antonio. If you really want to party the night away in style, you can buy one of our fabulous ticket packages that include reservations at the gorgeous El Tropicano Riverwall hotel that include tickets and hotel room. You can even make it an extra special night by purchasing tickets, hotel room, drinks and breakfast. Packages that include room reservations will be booked through the reservations page (above) on the 96.1 NOW website. Where is El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel?
El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel is located at 110 Lexington Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78205 in beautiful downtown San Antonio, Texas. With your ticket to the Prom Night Do-Over Party, you’ll get an evening in the Hollywood Hills in the heart of Texas. Please note that there are no in and out privileges at the prom. What do I wear to the Prom?
We encourage everyone to dress up! Rent a tuxedo, find an old Prom dress, or even buy new a one- whatever you need to make it a night to remember!
Is there seating at the Prom?
Attending the Prom Night Do-Over Party is like attending a real high school prom, with some dedicated seating for you to take a break from all the dancing.
How old do I have to be to come to the Prom Night Do-Over Party?
The Prom Night Do-Over Party is a 21+ event. IDs will be checked at the door and those without proper identification will not be admitted into the event. El Tropicano and 96.1 NOW staff members reserve the right to deny entry to any individual. In other words, drink responsibly and let’s have fun!
Where do I park?
There is a paid parking garage at El Tropicano as well as surrounding city-owned garages in the area.
How long is the Prom?
The Prom officially kicks off at 8:00 PM and will run until Russell Rush puts the punch bowl on his head.
Will the paparazzi be there?
It’s Hollywood, baby! Be prepared to walk the red carpet and get your picture snapped! Just don’t pull a Britney and hit one with an umbrella…
Will there be alcohol at the Prom Night Do-Over Party?
That’s the best part! Here, the punch is ALREADY spiked! Drinks will be available for purchase all night.Please note, absolutely no outside alcoholic beverages are allowed in to El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel. If you are caught with an alcoholic beverage that you have brought in to the hotel, you will be asked to leave the Prom. Please be reminded there are no refunds or exchanges. Also, we understand that many of you may be coming from Pre-Prom parties, dinners, etc. We strongly encourage you to not enjoy too many alcoholic beverages prior to coming to the Prom. The management reserves the sole right to refuse admittance to any individuals who may be considered disruptive to the Prom Night Do-Over Party environment. There are no refunds or exchanges. All decisions by Prom management and/or El Tropicano security are final. Please party responsibly!
Is there food at the Prom? Can you recommend a restaurant close to the Prom?
There will be all kinds of light finger food at the prom available to everyone, with restaurants located nearby.

Will there be a King & Queen crowned at the prom?
Yes! What prom would be complete without a King & Queen? 96.1 NOW will be surveying the scene throughout the evening with King & Queen passes. If you receive a pass you will be in the running to be royalty. King & Queen will be determined by crowd participation and response at the event.
What can I do at the prom?
The Prom officially kicks off at 8:00 PM.We will have a variety of activities to take part in at the Prom. Aside from dancing the night away, you’ll have the opportunity to have Prom portraits, enjoy the booths from our fabulous sponsors, win awards, and more! We highly suggest carrying cash for the evening. So don’t waste time! Get ready to break out the moves– it’s the Prom Night Do-Over Party!
