Fiesta Flambeau Parade

The Fiesta Flambeau® Parade presents “Celebrating Literary Classics” as its 2020 theme. The Parade is the largest illuminated parade in the country and for the second year has been recognized as the” Best Parade in the World” among entries in its budget category by the International Festivals and Events Association. The parade was also honored this year as the” Best Parade” in Texas by the Texas Festivals and Events Association.

The Fiesta Flambeau Parade is the highlight and near finale of the 11 days of Fiesta®. The University of Texas San Antonio Band leads off the 2.6-mile route. 750,000 spectators-and a television audience of 1.5 million watch spectacularly illuminated floats, lighted marching units that include local, out of town, out of state bands, dance groups, equestrian units, plus international bands and entertainers all contribute to a night that will surely “Light up your Life.”

The Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association, Inc.’s mission is “to plan, organize produce and stage the Fiesta Flambeau® Parade annually during Fiesta® San Antonio. It does so, to enhance the celebration for the San Antonio community and its visitors. It is a nonprofit, volunteer organization with 83 members and more than 300 volunteers.
